In document BT-02, a number of measures are provided for the purchase of primary products, including the IKKB certification requirement (cf. BT-02 - 6.1), as well as the use of a quality agreement for certain primary products.
Cereals collected from primary producers (barley, wheat or corn e.g.):
For the 2012 harvest, at least 50% of the collected volume, must be purchased from IKKB certified suppliers. The rest of the purchased volume (maximum 50%), may be purchased from Belgian primary producers, covered by a quality agreement.
Other primary products, which may fall under the IKKB certification (e.g. potatoes or straw)
For the 2012 harvest, at least 50% of the collected volume, must be purchased from IKKB certified suppliers. The rest of the purchased volume (maximum 50%), may be purchased from Belgian primary producers commercializing this product, and also covered by a quality agreement. For these products you may use the blank quality agreement form as model. It is up to the GMP certified company, to further complete this document.
Primary products, which may not fall under the IKKB certification (rape seed expeller e.g.):
If the primary product does not fall under the scope of IKKB certification, the total purchase (100%) must be covered by a quality agreement. This may be the case for rape seed expeller, produced by a primary producer. There exists a model of such agreement for rape seed expeller (in Dutch or French). For other similar products, the GMP certified company may draw up themselves a quality agreement.
