What does a consultant do?
A consultant is a person that helps or advises a company wishing to obtain an FCA certificate. The choice is up to you whether or not you wish to appeal to a consultant.
You may also call upon a consultant for specific assignments, e.g. update of your quality system, update of your HACCP study (hazard analysis) or to perform your internal audit (annual requirement).
How do I choose a consultant?
You are completely free to choose any consultant you like. In order to help you, OVOCOM has developed a system for the registration of consultants. These consultants are compliant with the following conditions:
- Participation in at least one thematic training session per year;
- Pass the ‘Feed Chain Alliance’ exam every two years.
- Participation in specific meetings where changes involving the Feed Chain Alliance Standard as well as the relevant legislations are discussed;
